In honour of the late dedicated community leader and activist, Betty Makin, the awards recognise significant contributions made to the community.
Young people aged 12 to 24 and those who work with them are recognised in the awards.
Categories include Community, inclusion and diversity, creative, youth worker and youth service of the year.Entries close Friday 21 March 2025.
All nominees must live, work, study or operate in the City of Sydney local area
The Betty Makin Youth Awards will be presented on Tuesday 16 April at Redfern Town Hall as part of the City of Sydney Youth Week in the City 2025 event.
