“We are all looking forward to working with the next round of innovative entrepreneurs and can’t wait to discover their ground-breaking designs that have the potential to change the sportstech industry. As a leading sport science University, we seek out like-minded, future focussed industry partners who believe that sportstech has the potential to change the industry both locally and globally,” said Dr Robertson.

The virtual the accelerator program offers successful founders a 90-day mentorship (including office space), access to the Techstars worldwide network of entrepreneurs, along with accounting, legal support, fundraising opportunities, workshops, all based on a “proven model that has helped build thousands of successful companies.”

“Once again, we are extremely excited to be partnering with Techstars, LaunchVic and VU in the next accelerator program”, said Dr Machar Reid, Head of Innovation at Tennis Australia. “It’s going to be an exciting time as we welcome a new round of founders.”

The Techstars SportsTech Melbourne Accelerator has the potential to transform the sports start-up and technology industry in Australia and as a leading sport science university, VU is proud to collaborate with future-focused and progressive organisations.

“We have already had an incredibly driven and talented group successfully take part in this program and now we look forward to discovering a new group of founders who are ready to turn their sportstech idea into a reality”, said Dr Robertson.
